Update: New Forms Dashboard and Menu Adjustment
With the rapid expansion of Form functionality within the Formitize solution, we have released a new “Forms Dashboard” to help monitor and maintain your form activity. With the release, we have also made some changes to our system menus to help simplify navigation.
New Forms Dashboard
The new Forms Dashboard has been designed to bring all relevant form statistics and navigation into one central location.
The Access buttons at the top of the page both highlight statistics where required and also work as navigation button to take you to the right page.
These buttons include:
- Build New Template - to build a new form template
- Existing Templates - to view all existing templates on your account
- Start a New Form - to complete a form in the web management portal
- Saved Forms - to view all forms that have been saved, but not yet submitted
- Submitted Forms - to view all submitted forms
- Form Reporting - to create CSV Reports from submitted form data
- Lookup Databases - to setup and view lookup tables for your forms
- Form Photos - to search and view tagged photos in submitted forms.
New Forms Menu
Menu Changes are as follows:
-
Forms Dashboard > this is a new Dashboard just for forms, bringing all forms items together in one central dashboard. You will see our Main Dashboard change soon to cover all of the other Formitize modules.
-
The old “Start / Resume Form” page has been split into two separate sections:
a. Start a New Form (to start and complete a form in the management portal)
b. Saved Forms (to access forms that have been started, but not yet submitted). -
“Form Reporting” - this has replaced the old “CSV Report Builder” menu item that used to sit under Tools menu.
-
“Lookup Databases” - this has replaced the old “Databases” tab that used to have its own dedicated section in the top horizontal menu.
Another feature to help make paperwork, paperless.
